The new forum came to life and is quite active: http://www.smallflyingarts.net/forum/

I am still finalizing the Archives. The posts are all there but I am trying to recover some 20,000 images. So far I have over 10,000 images back online. Smiley

Agustin,
SFA stands for Small Flying Arts, and was the original stick and tissue modeling site.  It's founder passed away and his son ran the sight following his passing.  He (the son) didn't have the passion for modeling his father had and eventually the site was discontinued.  We all hated to see this happen.  There were some very fantastic build threads and a lot of great modeling insights and tips.

I'm not sure what has happened completely or if the site will ever be resurrected.  So we carry on with the great tradition of SFA the best we can here at S&T.

Others may know more than me and they may wish to comment.  I am only glad we have Stick and Tissue here, where we can continue to promote and hopefully expand the rich Stick and Tissue tradition.

I sent another email, (probably my last one), to Arjun on Monday asking for an update, or other information, and so far I have not received a reply from him.  I would hope that he makes contact soon.  If I hear from him I will post here as an advisory.

As Pete said,

The ship is sinking.  I still have a little hope, but is is dimming fast.  There was a ton of knowledge on that site that might never be accessed again.  Sad deal all around.

Sad news indeed!  Wishing you all the best Pete for SFA.  I started there and will miss it very much if it doesn't survive.
