I was thumbing through an old magazine with a feature on a P12-E and thought it looked like a fun future build. That "daisy" fairing was the part that scared me. I used golf club binding thread to do the fins. It's smooth and pretty fat. By cylinder 9 I had refined my technique enough that I am a little embarrassed by the first few. I need to lighten it up a bit, too. But hey, it's a learning process!

I'm thinking of doing a radial engined plane- thought I'd play with it a little. I'm not thrilled with it, but maybe once I get wires, pushrod tubes, etc. on it (and stuff it in a speed ring) it may be OK. From 100 feet Grin Grin

Great looking engine!  Looks like the F4B4 engine or possibly a F8C Helldiver.  Either way great looking radial!
Well Done! Smiley
