Welcome and congratulations on the maiden cruise and look forward to a successful maidn flight!  Great to have the Grandsons active...I call mine the Fetchermites! They're great.  Enjoy and if we can help just ask.
Once again welcome! Smiley

Hi everyone,
Smiley

I have followed this forum for some time.  I feel as if I know many of the members well from their posts.  It seems that a lot of enjoyment results from building and flying model aircraft while in retirement.

As a youngster I attemped to build and then successfully completed several models

After many years busy with other things I have resumed modelling.

Catalyst was that I had a stash of about 8 x model kits in a cupboard ,and asked my two Grandsons which ones they would like to build.

Oldest Grandson (13) choice was an Airsail Sea Spray model yacht, and the youngest (12) chose a Guillows Cessna 170.

We have completed and sailed the yacht.

I will post some details of the current model aircraft builds (Cessna 170 and Hawker Hurricane) as they progress.
Approach is that the boys build as much as possible and I only help with "know how" and on harder tasks.

The building boards are in our garage so all stages can be supervised.

All the best

Toulouse
