Title: Little Richard

I'm building a new Easy Built Little Richard for outdoor flying.  The as-built kit version is a good flyer but a bit fragile for the hazards of continued outdoor flying.  I went to a Clark Y rib profile, increased the leading edge to 3/32" sq., increased the frame member at the nose to 1/8" x 1/16", used 1/4" x 1/16" all around at the tail for increased stab support, added a small gusset on the frame under the leading edge attachment point and I'm enclosing the V & H stabs and lower wing for a bit more stability in a breeze.  This will be measurably heavier than the out-of-the-box version so I'll recalculate the motor size and may up the prop size one notch.

Well it comes it at 10 grams, the original was just at 8 grams.  The CG is at the 1/3 chord point with no added ballast, the original required a decent wad of clay in the tail.  I'll stick with the original motor and prop for now.
