Lovely aeroplane . . .there has just been a kit of it released over here by Aerographics (about 27"span from memory) although it might be a bit expensive on that side of the pond Tongue

Looking at the Swift again, it could be the first scale model that would look good in silver mylar!

Thanks Eric,
I got a good one. Think I'll try to hold on to her Wink. She didn't complain about the jets at the air show or the hours at the aerospace museum Cool.

BTW, if you are ever in San Diego make sure to go the air and space museum. It is the best I have ever seen. My camera battery died right when we went in Sad . I only got one picture of a hanging ford tri-motor. They have a Fokker Eindekker, dr1 and an Albatros, Neuport 28. A Curtiss Jenny or two, a Consoladated pt1, Aeronca champ, most of the popular ww2 fighers, Zoro, ME 109, P-40, Mustang, Hellcat, Wildcat and even Amelia Erharts Shirt! Too much to mention. It only takes about an hour, or an hour and a half for me Grin, to go through.

Here's a Firefly from th Miramar fly in...

Love the Swift!!! Love the grill on the Swift.
Those warbirds are bigger in life than they seem in pics. I bet they were bigger still when seen in the rear view mirror!!!

Happy anniversary.  Got 23 of them myself. First marriage. Long hard road dude, but its worth it!!

Lot's of folks were taking pictures. But most seemed to be more interested in watching the fly by's and Blue Angels.

More later Wink

Here we are in San Diego at the 2008 Miramar Marine base watching the airshow. There are some classic flyins including two B25's. Two T-28 Tojans, and an Australian Winjeel. We have pictures of a Fairchild PT-19  a pristine Globe swift and many more which will be posted when they are processed.

Meanwhile, while we are enjoying our 7 year anniversary, ThymeKiller is holding down the fort. It's nice to be able to check in on the wi-fi Wink
