New nose block. The original was toast from blowouts.  This one sports harder wood and is wrapped in 1/64 ply.  That should do it.  Of course, I could simply quit pulling so hard. Roll Eyes
The new cover patches are a lighter color.   Grin

Decided to recover the blown out parts of the javelin.  I knew she neede a new nose, but did not realize how much of her guts were missing.  Also a small bit of hanger rash. 
The rubber you see is my outdoor motor. Two loops, 2 times hook to peg, 1/8.  A bit much for indoor.  Grin
