Ooops...thanks Ian...yes I should have said Kiwi's post I believe is the Avro ...

Still looking for the one Huey posted!!! the structure from the front of the windshield to the wing root structure is interesting using 4 rods and not just two.

not mine, Kiwi's.

I was thinking it looked a bit like a luscombe, but I can't find a match for the forward vents.

Ian...I believe your plane is the Avro Ashton...

Huey...It's tough from the front quarter view you've given but reminds me of a Stinson Voyager but the engine is too small, I believe the Voyager had a six cylinder.... but the stringer down the side of the fuselage sticks out a bit too much for a Stinson...so I'm thinking Taylorcraft unless it's a Auster from the UK.

I guess everybody has been busy with building or life... no rush or pressure.  Just let things happen as they will.  I'll not post a new picture...if anyone wants to post a new picture go ahead.

Yes indeed. It was given either the 27 or the 270 designation.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in this thread for the last few months.

OK...I believe it's a Breguet Br-270 Observation aircraft of the French Airforce.
