Bob,
HPA has several P-38 plans of the chin model you're looking for that could be modified to the size and Comet style of build.  But as you say, the Comet shouldn't be too hard to modify!  Does your Brother want the radar pod under the fuselage pod also?
Tom

Yep! he wants the night fighter which I am drawing the changes now. Thanks for the info.

One thing nice about these dimers is the fast build.  I definitely will have to join you in the Arado...been looking at that one for a while now.

You're just too fast for me now Bob!!! Can't keep up with you.

When I retired from DPS in November I gave most of my dimers away to those coworkers who wanted an airplane.

So I plan on building more and this time I have a way to go fly them:

Ive cut parts for the following Comet dimers:

1. Vultee Attack
2. North American Trainer
3. Arado 168 (after seeing LivingroomFlight's video I need to build one to see if I can get it to fly as well as his)

The Monocoupe has been flying for a couple days now.  It's good enough to show some pic's though my camera is having difficulty focussing with the models small profile against large blank sky.  I think I need to try a focus lock on a distant object it to keep it from hunting.  More pic's in How's it flying here: http://www.stickandtissue.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1425849126/0#0

Terry, this another nice airplane I love that 3/4 top view and the color scheme sets off the lines of the Monocoupe. Still cannot wait to see those inflight photos.

Bob

PS I also am waiting on some good weather to fly the Vultee.
