Congratulations on the victory!  My cats never reached the 26 sec. mark.  But I love the B-52.  Great old bird.  Amazing she's still flying out there.  I look forward to your plans being posted.

After five years my venerable B-52 cat glider finally won the contest it was designed for.  I made a few modifications, increased the stabilizer area and gave it slightly more dihedral, to give it a bit more floaty glide.  The day was quite windy and it has good penetration which blew the competition around so I was able to win with 26 second flights.  I will re-post the plans after I revise them to the current standard.  ( Picture is as originally built. )
