Not necessarily Free Flight, but interesting nontheless.  This gathering has been in existence since 1960, making it one of the longest, continuous running aeromodeling events in Germany - if not in the World.  Lots of super-sized models and odd aircraft are paramount here.  The event is partially sponsored by Simprop, one of the larger model distributors in Germany.

The home-page has a nice video to give an idea about what goes on - unfortunately the site is only in German - but that should be no real problem...

I've not yet had the opportunity to attend as it is quite a ways from "home" (~ 270 K), but I hope to hitch a ride this year (weekend of the 14/05).

Edited to correct the credit.  IKARUS is the name of the club and the organisation that puts on the show in this case.  Simprop is a major model distributor and is based in Harsewinkel and has helped sponsor the event.
