I have not been close to a computer for several days now. It has been pleasant playing with my grandchildren while at a lake in Northern Wisconsin. Therefore, this late response.

The physical size of the two page scan is about 8.5 X 11. I will measure it when I start the last series of scans and give you the exact size. I scan, crop and rotate in an effort to make the book readable. Sorry that the sizes are all over the place. With more work I could certainly make an exact copy, but my intention was to just let the S&T family enjoy an old text written by one of the early notables, Joseph S. Ott.

Down Hill,
Nice material, but I have a question. What is the size of a book page? Scan sizes are all over the map.

Thank you Down Hill! It will take more than a couple of weeks to absorb what you have given already.

Bargle. Try this. Right-click on the image and then select 'View Image'. It also loads much faster.

Now it's working both ways. (shrugs) Thanks for the suggestion.

Sure it's a wrinkly mess, but it flies.

Created on an old MacBook Air. I will try to fire up an even older Windows machine and check out the view there. If you are having problems viewing these you must be having problems with other pictures posted here.
I am scanning the pages directly into PhotoShop, cropping and rotating the image, resizing it to 144 DPI and saving it as a really small .jpg. This is the same thing I do for all old prints.
