All,

Here are some windy trim flying sessions for the Austin and the Roland D-XVI. My son and I went out and found a more "forgiving" field with taller grass and that made us bolder.  These are just the start, but I do think the Austin will need some clear stabilizers at the interplanes and I'll try it again.  The Roland looks like it will be a nice flyer, even with that even shorter nose than on the original plan (I moved it forward for scale purposes) and longer tail!  Not a lick of ballast was needed and she flew pretty much off the board once we tweaked away a wicked left turn.  I also have only 1/4 inch of dihedral on that sucker too!  Neat-oh...
