I think that Slicks were unarmed Hueys used for personnel transport into hot zones.

Welcome to the forum PT. Looks like you are converting your Hurricane to a Mark VI. Thanks for posting a pic of your work along with your introduction.

Hello PT and welcome to the quieter side of modelling. Everyone here started at some point and made their skills what they are today and we have fun doing it. You have landed in the best Free Flight forum around and everyone here will help with any and all questions so bring them along. Post some more pictures and and welcome again to the forum.

Already having some fun trying to register. Old timer w/o computer skills and few modeling talents. Mostly nuts & bolts, wrenches & welding, but spent time scaling down big boat plans for kids toys.
Many years ago got some balsa/tisue/rubber power kits and it's time to learn some aviation in retirement. Love it, was a crew chief on a slick 69-70.
This try is a Hawker Hurricane, walnut sized-I think 17", built, but need to ask some questions. I've been into RC stuff & slot cars, but tired of batteries/gas/finding places to run..
