Could be but I'm not smart enough to know!!

I've looked at some of his other plans and this prop layout is not unusual in his designs, although this is probably the most pronounced. Since a prop is, in effect, a miniature wing, a wing design like this would be different, to say the least.

I have no scientific basis for my opinion...but, I believe it's to give the prop a bigger bite into the air...I hear others speak of Reynolds numbers etc but this particular prop seems to be used primarily for indoor flying.  Just an observation.

Just a thought. The leading edge seems to be prone to flex when running. When the torque is particularly high under the initial part of the run, the angle of attack would be increased with the blade flexing, and the increased drag would also slow the speed of rotation marginally. It might be intended to smooth out the thrust through the first half of the motor run. But that is only a thought. (alternatively, they might have made a mistake in the plan.)

I'm building a plan that shows an odd shape for the prop. Seems that the LE and TE are reversed. Any thoughts?
