I've heard of both and have the plans for the Telasco but I don't have the Berkeley F-11F Tiger.  I'll look forward to following theses builds.

both are kits - the Grumman Tiger is a Berkeley and the Grumman F9F Cougar is 'American Telasco Limited'

Both were sent to me by another model maker who is intent on challenging my Limited skill set

..and no - I had never heard of American Telasco either

Love both of those early jets...are they kits or plans from somewhere else?

Thank you Sky9pilot for posting the link. I hope to do a number of builds under the gopro camera and provide as much information as well as methods and processes I use to produce these static display models.
Everyone has their own way of course and I am not professing to be an expert by any means..only wanting to provide insights into my ways. Learning as I go - both in model making and now videography.
I have a couple of early Navy jets stacked up behind the Aeronca : an F9F-8 Cougar and an F11-F Tiger..Roy Grumman is a legendary figure to me. Both of these kits will be assembled on the channel in the weeks ahead.

Thanks Craig - I really appreciate the kind words.
Have you looked at my youtube channel Heywood Planes?
you can see some videography of this build and of the YPT-9 Cloudboy and I would love to have feedback from folks who have enjoyed my builds on the forums to those videos - help me make the channel better as we go forward.
Thanks man - I hope to make this Aeronca Champ look as good as I can...on FLOATS woohoo

I'm gonna love following this one- I've been on a bit of an Aeronca binge myself because I can get good flights out of them- but a static build will be fun to watch! The craftsmanship so far is amazing!

This kit is the first stick and tissue model I ever built, when I was about 12 years old, and it flew! I have one in the queue now- but it's gonna go in the "maybe this one will fly more than fifty feet" direction.
