I have only to apply the call numbers on the rudder and she’s done Cheesy
Turned out nice, banana wings and all....lots of flying wires, tissue covering, Krylon satin spray painted, lots of odds n ends for scale effects...I even put a hanging hook in case they want to suspend it, now....ready to work on the ruskii electric!

Thank you!
If a person was to build a real flying model...I don’t know how a body would trim it!!!
Couple things to do...and she’s ready to go out the door!

More done! The flying wires are in, all but for the front 2...I need to do them very las thing....as still need 2 more scale wing struts to add, gas tank and line thingie...ya know, the glass tube thingie....and the tail letters.... Roll Eyes...which I’m still no good at...so,  plan to attach black lettering to a piece of red tissue to minimize a mistake....I don’t wan to have to re-cover the rudder if I botch it!

Banana wings Grin
Wings are just about done...a few mounts need to be attached...then final coats of spray Krylon and then all them dang wires... Shocked
Little details, then my gift will be done....those wings are really difficult to build AND cover!!! I’ll post a final finished picture...it was fun to build.

Wing warp!
The wings are built with a center spar formed in a banana bend...then the LE and TE willgentle sweep with that....very strange way a getting dihedral in it!
This is the lower wing... “elevatorwing”??? Tongue

The Pou-du-Ciel used any engine they could lay their hands on, mostly motorcycle engines.

Ditto what Skyediamonds said...didn't that plane use a Ford model A motor?  Looking really good!

I thought so...there was a pic with the plans that had this motor in it....the A motor didn't have a stick up distributor and the intake/exhaust was on the other side.....I dunno...so I just built as it shown on the plans.....
Although....I could swap out the motors if the new owner insists....the motor mount bolts are the same....ahahahahaah Grin
