Hi Jeff,

The acetone worked! Now I may stand a reasonable chance of a restoration Wink. Thanks

I've got a small bundle of struts etc. wrapped in tape. This is a big project. I tried removing the paper last night.  The center section is glued on with thick amber colored glue that does'nt want to soften.

I hate to just toss in the trash can. It has scale rib spacing and all the false ribs. Maybe a small bonfire ceremony, to at least acknowlege all the great work that went into this one.

Maybe Im missing something...  Where were the outer struts? Did it come with all the radio goodies?
Micro mark has alot of stuff to "age" with.  It does look like an old barn find.

One more. This looks to me like something that might be found in an old barn somewhere.

A friend at the local FAC was going to toss this one out. It may be a good fixer upper because it is very well built. It was originally free flight electric and has hinged flying surfaces, plug in wings, spoked wheels and rigging. It looks a good candidate for small motor S&T RC.
