Got in a few flights today.  It doesnt want to fly when I balance it according to plan. It wont climb. Im going to adjust stab incendence. It doesent seem to have 3 degrees , looks a little less.
If I can get 15 seconds out of this plane I will consider it a sucess [for me] and move on. Grin

Better way to mount the wing. sme design, just with a screw instead of a pin. The le fits under a tab. One screw in the back.  Will try magnets on the bigger one.

Not so good at laminating yet, but this seemed like a good time to pratice. Its ugly work,I know. but its lighter. will sand away most of the glue.  Grin Grin
Getting the wood strips inside was tougher than I thought. Next time ,I will made a pattern and wrap the wood around until it dryies. then install. Maybe it will kink less.  Easyer to match the ends. Oh well, something else to learn more about. Suggestions are greatly welcomed!!! Smiley

nice to know you can just buy the plans etc.  The wood in those kits sucks and buy the time you trim it and sand the wood ,you might as well just start with good wood.    jeff

I got a link , if you want it. Guillows will sell just what you want, not the whole kit. I think the plans are 6 $  The canopy is 2$ the nose and exaust is 2$ ect.
most folks dont like the wood anyway, so the plan and plastic is , I think about 10 bucks.    ANY plan and plastic. except the giant, fancy ones. Those are for sale seperate also but a little higher.  The 400 series will fly better , Im told. They cost 30$ for the kit but you can mail order the just good stuff for about 10$.
Hollar if you want the link.  I would really like to watch how you build a warhawk.  Your other stuff has been great.
500 series: about 15$   16 inch span
400 series: about 30$   28 inch span  roughly Wink

I dont mind fixing them. I enjoy the shop time, whatever Im building.   Smiley

Blowout's can really wreak havoc on a fuse Undecided. Hours of hard work ripped apart in a second Shocked. And then the fix takes more hours of rebuilding, covering, and finishing. That's what I like about it. Smiley

Shame I have to put some of that back. Think I lost 3 gams.

More later.    Going to use 1/32 soft to reinforce a few parts. I did not know how exciting a blow out could be. After removing the cover I found a few other places that needed help. I guess breaking a motor on a full blown p-30 type could be a disaster. Hence, the blast tube...
