	Thank you Jim. I think Tom modified one to be a P-51 b You are correct about enlarging the 500 series to 24 inches. It spaces things out nicely. I have often thought about making the wings just a tad larger. It would not be dead scale, but I think it would glide better. Maybe just add 10% wing area.

	Nice p40 I do monitor this site from time to time as HPA is my main site now. Anywho FOR THE GUILLOWS 500 series model. Go to your nearest scanner and blow the 16 inch models( reduce the gaint scale) to 20 to 24 inch span models!!!!!!!! They are so much more flyable and buildable this way. Also be sure and build that plastic cowl out of balsa and reduce the wood in the trailing/ leading edges on the wings and tail eathers. For rubber power you just don't need the weight. Besides HEE HEE HEE, you can modify the plan to build a diveffent mark. of a/c I've done minor work to take the P40 to the XP 53 proposal, or how about a p36. Better yet convert that P51 D to a P51 A or B? a few pencil lines and Bingo. Remember, the plans are only the beginning JIM

	My son does card models of buildings and things for some of the board games he plays. Very complicated battletech types with VERY difficult rules on what a dice toss allows. I downloaded a model of the Horton brothers flying wing for him to play with. He told me he was sorry but he couldn't get the wings to come out right. Turns out he was trying to remove the reflex that a flying wing needs to be stable. I thought it came out rather nicely.

I just went to look for them, and found I have a J3 Cub, Me. 262, and Douglas Skyray, but I don't see the buildings; they may be in another folder or on the hard drive that failed a couple years ago (and was recovering well, at one point, before it went down again and was put aside until I have space to recover onto a different drive -- hopefully this fall). I've got other paper model buildings from gaming sources, but they're all "free sample" stuff -- a hoarding without the wall it would have been built on, for instance.

	I have built several in the past before getting into stick and tissue....The Grumman Goose in several schemes, Cutter's Goose and an early Goose, a P-51 in two scales, one in race livery, yellow and black checkerboard, a Me 109, An F-84G in thunderbird scheme, C-47, F-86A, F4D Skyray, Bell X-1....all were played with by the grandsons and are now in disarray. Missing parts or completely destroyed... Tom
