Waverly Stearman designed the Black Hawk, he was another of the Stearman Brothers.  Helped designed the Swallow with Matty Laird and his more famous brother.

Sincerely,

LLoyd or Walter Stearman?

When you begin to fly you are issued two bags, one full of luck and an empty one for experience.&&The object is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Ok, go ahead and google "Butler Blackhawk" and see if Wikki has the name of the designer. The designers  brother was really well known(once president of Lockeed and has a biplane named after him, but actually had nothing to do with it!).

Butler metal building company (still around today, which is why I know this!) made a stab at producing a   Wright J-5 powered biplane called the Butler Blackhawk.

Trick question: What famous named indivdual designed it ?

No fair searching  "Butler Blackhawk"  BEFORE you post a guess or answer!
