The Sopwith Tabloid?  Unfortunately, no significant other photos.  This was one of my earliest designs - the float version was built in 1989.  Back then, I wasn't very skilled at building and it was rather heavy for a Peanut - but it did fly.

I built a second version - the early WWI skid-type landing gear.  This one flew much better, likely because it was without the big floats.  Still, I don't think it won any contests.  It has a short nose and I know I still had a lot to learn about building in lightness.

The plan shows all three types:  Schneider Cup racer, early WWI lg and late WWI lg.

I have often thought about building a jumbo version of the Schneider Cup racer - it would be rather impressive (and large).

First, I'd like to thank you for posting here.  It's an honor.
I have only been around a few years but I have heard your name more than once.

Don't worry about not knowing of this site. That's common. Going to fix that this year.  BOY HOWDY are we going to fix that this year!!!!

Please feel free to jump in with advice. Despite your absence, I bet you still know more than most and any tips you could share would be great. We have some "old hands" around here, but most of us lack the history and experience you can provide.

Grin Grin I hardly think so.

What are you going to build first?   dying to know.

Thanks for the intro and the invitation.  Somehow I missed this Stick & Tissue site - I was unaware.

My name is George Bredehoft and I used to fly FAC events - from the late 80s through 2000.  I flew in Cleveland and Flint, occasionally Erie, and FAC Major events in Muncie and twice in Geneseo.

I've been away for too long, but look forward to jumping back in this year and I am even planning on going to Geneseo again this year, even though I am beyond rusty.  Just consider me an easy victim to you competitive types Smiley

The site in the previous post is my Plans Web Site.  All plans are drawn by me and have been built and proven - proven to fly at least the FAC-minimum 20 seconds.  (There is a free plan that has not been proven.)

Anyway, thanks for the promotion; anyone feel free to ask questions: I will be glad to answer them.

Some odd and pretty interesting planes here.
Among others, the site offers 17 no-cals.
