Since no one has guessed it, I believe it's an EMB-200-201 Ipanema.

Nope. Grumman's Turbo Ag-Cat was in the  November /82 issue of Model Builder. I built that one. But that was designed by Hoby Clay. This is by a different designer.

Someone is building it on the cookup on the HPA site, which is why I posted this pic. I still have the issue of Model Builder with this plan in it.

I remember buying the Model Builder with that plan from the newsstand as a teenager.  Printed the plan and cut a few parts, but never got around to building it.

OK, lets see if there is some interest in this particular aircraft modeled by a famous designer.

It’s a stretched, 12”, Miniplane. The builder was 6’-2” tall and needed more cockpit room.

Haven’t seem anything posted, so try this one. This is 1970, June if my memory’s still good. A close friend built it and I helped he finish it. A friend of ours, who had built several, test flew for 15mins and told us what we needed to change. I flew it the next weekend and also flew off the rest of the test time. All total 100hrs. We both learned to fly so to say as I only had about 100hrs+ or- at the time. Got by private license in May of “70” before graduating from High School. Those are hours that I will NEVER forget!

The Skyranger was initially produced by the Rearwin company, and then continued on under the Commonwealth Aricraft brand when they were bought out. Info on the Skyranger Interesting that the original price for the plane was $3000! 1943 Rubber plan for a 34" W/S Rearwin Skyranger here: Outerzone plan
