Outstanding Tim, just the thing I was looking for.  The Baron's Brother's plane.  Nice to see a Dr1 in something other than the all red scheme.  Looking forward to following this build.

The DR-1 that is pictured also has the original rotary engine, so it is a real treat to see it in the air. If you ever get to PA, come check it out, definitely well worth it!

Tom,
Sounds like a cool idea!
This one will be based on Lothar von Richthofen's DR1. The full size at Golden Age is based on this as well. Go to www.goldenageair.org and their's is on the home page.

Nice looking wing TJH,

I'm looking to start up a new cookup based on aviator's and their plane.  Do you think you might be interested?  Your Dr1 is a great subject.  Which scheme will you be pursuing?  Who's the museum's plane done after?  They usually do them up to represent some specific squadron or pilot's markings.

Top wing started for Megow Fokker DR1. When completed this will be raffled to raise funds for the museum where the full size DR1 resides. If this one goes well I may have to build a few of these little Fokkers Wink
