Jimbo,

Keep us informed of your projects and how the glues are working out for you.  We can all use the input!

Thanks for sharing.

Tom

Thanks guys. Yep, its hard to get away from regular Elmers. Smiley

Since I have the Foam-Tac, I'll do some experimenting with it an see how it goes. I ordered some CA- foam safe thick and some BSi Insta-cure+...Hopefully I will keep my fingers un-stuck. Roll Eyes

Cant help with the foam tac, but gorilla glue will foam up a bit if you glue foam to foam and introduce water to the joint. Makes a cool gap filler.
I use foam safe ca, like Tom. It will bond to metal. If you need a link to buy it online just hollar.
Bob Smith Ind sells it as do many others.

Jimbo,

I'm not familiar with the "Foam Tac" glue.  I've use regular Elmer's white glue on foam and I have used epoxy when I was into RC.  But most of the time I've used Foam Safe Cyano (super glue).  Most hobby shops and online suppliers have these.  Check out some of the supplies sections for links to glues and supplies.  Shorty's Basement, Volare, A2Z etc.  Or direct glue makers such as ZAP, BSI (Bob Smith Industries) etc.  for foam safe glues.  I have also used Gorrila glue on balsa but haven't tried it on foam.

How about it guys?  Anyone out there used "Foam Tac"?

Tom

Due to LHS closures (none for a hundred miles), I am going to start incorporating foam into my builds. I have searched to no avail for posts on glues that work for Balsa and Foams like Depron or Pro-formance foam. Good metal adhesion would be a plus.

Have found a product called Foam-Tac by Beacon. Anyone have experiance with it? Do ya know what to thin it with? Says on label that its the answer to my adhesive prayers Roll Eyes

Thanks Jimbo
