Well, just doing a bit with it now and again, enjoying it!
Have the rudder and elevator covered and hinged to tail, ESC, motor and battery installed. Just need to add servos, and receiver next. Still waiting on HobbyKing to deliver a long overdue transmitter.
Does anyone here use a DX5 Tx at all, I may buy one of these instead, as the Orange Tx is taking too long, it's a joke at this stage.

Had great few days flying the foam glider, even got some video from an on board camera, these 808 ones that weigh next to nothing, even the little Sky 500 can carry it as payload!

alan,

Round2it is looking good.  You should have some great fun with that model.  Keep us informed how things go.

Hi Tom,

Ah great, hopefully that will work out, foam glider flying going great, even in a strong wind it fights it well and hangs there like a kite!

Well just been covering the round2it at the moment and put the tail in place, just need to add the elevator and rudder along with all the electronics, it should be ready to go once i receive a transmitter in the post which is 2 months late!!

here's a picture of it so far anyways!

Alan ... I think you're going to love the "round2it".  After your skills are built with the foam glider you should be able to get the round2it going as well!

The Solarfilm covering I thought was going to be translucent, but alas, it's opaque, so it takes the look away a bit I'm afraid. The wings are huge compared to what I've built so far, it should glide with the power off I'm hoping!
Wingspan is 36 Inches.

Here's a link to a very nicely finished one....http://www.mountainmodels.com/product_info.php?products_id=718

if it flies like the foam motorglider I have just purchased, it will be great!

Hey there,

Just finishing off a motor glider, from Mountain Models, called Round2it. Looks great, hopefully it'll fly as good as it looks!

Waiting on a Transmitter to arrive, it's a long wait, so it's held everything up so far. Have ESC, Servos, Rx and motor, just covering the wings today and tomorrow planning on doing the tail feathers.

Here's a few pictures of it so far:
