Nice...I love the finish.  Brings back many memories of my RC glider days.  They are fun, even your Free Flight glider!!!  I like the idea of the servo activated DT!!!

The glider is finished as of last October.  Servo actuated D/T works great, but due to lousy weather I have not had a chance to get any kind of tests in.

Ready to launch weight is right at 160 grams.  I don't have a photo yet of the "final" finish, but as soon as we get a bit of sun some new snaps will be posted.

Cute ship, Pete.  I need to do another peanut - it's been too long.

Essentially finished still needing the tail skid and a coat of Krylon, John Berryman's "Sperry Monoplane" P'nut.

7.5 grams as shown.  Hand carved 43/4" prop and 3/4" NS wheels.

Bed glide and one back yard toss looked good.

Comet A-26 "INVADER" built from plans with my own wood - mostly 6-8# stock.

Wingspan:  30 inches
Length:  22 inches
Weight: 61.2 grams (dry)
Scale: approx 1/28th
Props:  North Pacific 5.5 inch

Some lightening done on fuselage formers, plus a few extra stringers to achieve a more pleasing form on the nacelles.

WoW Pete...brings back great memories of the CLG's we made a few years back.  Lots of fun those things are.  Your fleet is fantastic!  Gotta make some more myself.

Guillows series 600 Cessna 180 built in 2010 with the stock wood.  It was a gift, so I had to build it (disappointed, NOT!).  I modded it a bit to suit my "scale" preferences by reshaping the instrument panel former slightly, and ditching the abominations that Guillows supplies as "wheels" for balsa ones.  The model would not perform with the coffee stirrer supplied so a Peck 6 incher was the initial replacement.  the prop change was a success, but swapping to a 7 inch version really opened up the flight envelope (and killed the turn... so far).

28 grams "dry", chalked Esaki with tissue trim and the model now has its registration numerals.  The stock excuse for a "tail wheel" breaks by just looking at it - will get changed (someday).

My first peanut model, the John Berryman designed "Rearwin Speedster" finished  in Oct 2008 with a dry weight (as shown) of 6.71 grams - still can't figure out how I did that... Krylon finish that crazed the "glass" (envelope "windows").

It's still flying on occasion when I can get to an indoor site.  I have flown it outdoors but it is TOO light with the wood prop.  Switching to a Peck and a bit of counterweight in the tail it does OK, but the very light structure does not appreciate sudden stops (the LG is only butt glued to the lower longerons), so I now fly it indoors.  I really should finish the trim and take it to the next IIFI as it has done over a minute under a 7.2 meter ceiling.
