The guillow f-15 is too little...  (think cox .010...)

Today's Hobbies however...

Might just float your boat...  There'd be lots to do, but rudder offset would be easy, stabilator would need to be engineered, I'd firewall the fuse at the second former from the nose, and bolt on the motor...

There's room inside for your bellcrank...

I have one of thse kits coming from e-bay right now...  Now you got me thinkin' too...

Howdy,

I've got something stuck in my head, I just MUST build a F-15 powered by a little Cox Snap Start. I figure with with the taper coming down the nose I can "hide" glow head. I've also toyed with the idea of making it a pusher. I know Cox and Comet both made jet fighters with trike gear so this is not a orig idea. I've been doing some thinking and I came up with the F15 is also part lifting body. With that in mind the CG would be in a weird spot forward of spar, or my math could be wrong. Anyone ever made a 1/2a plane that was lifting body?

This is why I hate getting really cool ideas....I have to build something that I have no real idea how it works! LOL
