I've flown all three on .049 twin engine.  (use the two inboard nacelles on the B-17...) they all fly good.  Build all three... The gull wing on the 25 ain't scary, you just shim it up some...

Will do Bob. Right now I'm in Long Beach at a RV park working on a Fokker from Sterling. People keep looking at my balsa. LOL Only here for a day so making the best of power and such. I so love being a road warrior balsa builder.

IMHO:

The,
B-17 would the easiest to build.
B-25 has only two engines, but the dihadrel is difficult.
P-38 has only two engines, but I dont like the process for the control horn wire.

so I like the B-17

Ok that is what I needed to know. I'll run two outboard on one timer and two inboard on another timer. I can run 2 or 4 with a press of a button. It might fly ok with just the two. Guess we will find out in about a month Cheesy

Not having flown CL in many many moons I'm sure someone will have a more current recommendation...but here's my two cents worth.
If you've gotten the power train units for the B-25 it possibly could be used for the P-38 if the sizes are not to different.  I don't see any of the three being a problem for non acrobatic flying.  If no power components have been secured yet the field is wide open.  The B-17 would look, sound and be awesome making some circuits!!!!

Hey modelers, what's your input!!!

I have a Guillows B-17 and B-25 still sitting in a box waiting. I was about to start one then I thought of the P-38. I was going to use Brodak electrics on them and was wondering out of the 3 what would be the best one for C/L? Not stunt stuff just round and round.
