VERY interesting vids series. Thanks for the hook up.
Whats funny is that this all came from the same government who told Wilbur Wright that they didn't see a use for what he was trying to sell them.
Whats not so funny is that the gov isnt much smarter today.

I had actually thought of a sleigh for the body, turning it into a biplane ,and the skis as landing gear, with the tail being sort of where you traditionally see the gifts. Like a porky lil Bostonian.

Only one size is considered "standard" - depending only on where one lives.  In the US (and prolly everywhere else where Imperial units are still used), the "standard" paper size is 8.5" x 11".  I Europe the size is DIN "A-4" (210mm x297mm =~ 8.26" x 11.69").

Either size will print close enough for guviment work Wink

Or, use 11" x 17" printed "to fit" for a Giant "Scale" model Grin.

Another thing to keep in mind is the motor stick  It is shown full length on the plan (why a break is shown is a mystery)!  The dimensions are given, so any change in size will not require adjustment.

I've made a pdf file for those who might be confuser challenged - prints directly to letter size (8.5 x 11 inch).  Flat span should work out to a bit over 15 inches (7.56" panel).

By standard sheet do you mean 8.5X11, 8.5X14 or 11X17"?  I'm gonna have to build one.  Just bit me hard!!!!  Cheesy Shocked Roll Eyes Grin Wink

Copy image to your hard-disk as is and print to fit a standard sheet.  I'd make the wing/stab as a built up surfaces (not really necessary) with clear covering.  I'd also suggest adding a bit of a standoff at the thrust bearing and rear hook.  Color the sleigh brightly and "Rudolph's" nose red.

It would make a good canard conversion.
