	Corsair is an excellent little flyer! Pity I neglected repairing it for so long but will make up for lost time and fly it all theough this summer hopefully!

	I had a crash with the corsair about year and half ago and only got it repaired this weekend. Both wings were torn off and main spar broken linking 2 wings together.. I strengthened the wing with a carbon rod rear spar and reinforced the main ply spar with carbon where it had broke. Also had to repair the fuselage sides with 1mm ply and then glue the wings on again. Great to see it in one piece again and even better to see it fly well, even with all the repairs! I had forgotten how nice it is to fly these little models, they really are a lot of fun! The little motor gives them a surprising amount of power. Still using my 6 year old set of 2S batteries.....also amazing how these have lasted, just 1 has bit the dust so far . Hope everyone here is staying safe and if safe to do so, get some flying done. Weather has been amazing here ever since lockdown 7 weeks ago. So the guilt got to me and I repaired 2 models so far.....have 1 more to go!

	Well spent a while cutting and sticking on the solartrim last night. Managed to fly it today with a calm evening and it looks great in the air with new colours and the setting sun lighting it up. Flies great with a little expo on the elevator.....these are great little models for caln weather. Flew 4 batteries through it.....its addictive!!

	Glad to hear her maiden flight went well. Covering looks great! I used to really enjoy covering with the various films. Crank up the trim iron and have at it with the red solarfilm!

	Finally got it covered and servos setup on Friday night. Flew it yesterday. Flies great, but I thinm C of G was slightly to the rear, will either use a heavier battery next time or add some nose weight. Delightes to see some air beneath its wings!

	I can't believe it has been 2 years since I've posted here! Today I am finally going to finish the corsair! I left it in a corner for far too long! Just completing the covering today and hoping to test fly soon when this wind drops off. Will post sone pics later!

	Cover with white first, maybe with a LIGHT dusting of white paint, then add the red trim (paint or tissue - tissue might be easier).

	Yes that's the one!! How would you go about doing this? Cover it all in red and then add the white? Any dodgy cutting of lines would show up pretty quickly I guess!!

	Looks like you're making great progress. I'm assuming you're talking of the red and white starburst scheme as found on the racer F2G? But I realize it's always dangerous to assume anything!!! Like this? Sky9pilot

	Finally started the corsair....going together nicely sofar! Thinking of red and white scheme for it....what do you think? These are great kits!
