Looks like you've got your "bush wheels" on her for those rough terrane situations!  She looks great!  Well Done! Smiley

Got the right side exterior skin on. The right side interior doubler skin. And working on the interior structure.

Starting to get some of the interior structure in on the left side. And starting prep for sheeting on the right side.

Thanks for the clarification.  I thought I was seeing exterior sheeting of the fuselage.  Looks like you've got the strength needed! Smiley

Are you going to run a stringer inside those vertical panels?

Thanks for your concerns, Tom. I can now see how the picture of the vertical panels are a bit misleading. They are a doubler on the inside of the horizontal exterior skin. And yes, there is further interior structure coming.

Your making great progress! Are you going to run a stringer inside those vertical panels?  The Kadet is a great model many have trained on this aircraft!

Repairs on the Kadet MKII have begun "again". (Spoiler alert), I already have a ton of progress pictures already, so I know she is getting done this time. I am guilty of thinking too much about this repair, and got discouraged with it, instead of just getting in there, and getting it done. I was going to rebuild a whole new fuselage there for a bit, but glad I changed my mind on that.

Actually landed the airplane, and she started to roll out. But, I guess because of how fast I was going, the nose gear flexed back, the nose came down somewhat, the prop dug in, and just like that, WHAM. She instantly flipped on her back and tore the wing right off. Came to an instant stop. I was disheartened and discouraged. I really like this plane for some reason, and have way to many feelings attached to her. I know better than to do this. Upgrades, improvements, and repairs to follow on this plane next, after the Goldberg Skylane.

This is the Kadet MK II at the beginning of 2019. I finished all the stiping, and decided not to do the design on top of the wing, like the Kadet had. She is totally finished here. Finally one day in spring of 2019, I was able to get away from life, and try to go flying. I was feeling eager, and confident. Oh Dave, you can handle her after after not flying all winter. I don't know exactly what I was doing wrong, I kept coming in way to hot for my landing attempts. Starting to panic a bit, about running out of battery, and forced to take whatever kind of landing I could get. I was lined up on the field really good, coming in again way to hot, and decided to go for it. Then, CRASH.
