	Terry had my same thoughts to gently blend the two braded strands together into one braided strand. I've only milked a couple of cows and that was when I was real young, shortly after Columbus landed, and that was at my uncle's dairy farm. So most were machine milked. But you know he had to squirt me a couple times and the local farm cat too. Tom

	I actually did grow up in a small farming community in central Nebraska and have milked my share of cows and agree with you on the technique. I suppose one method is as good as another, probably a matter of preference.

I guess you had to grow up knowing how a cow is milked by hand. In any event I suppose it means sliding your fingers along the length of the motor to squeeze out knots and get an even twist through the entire length. Terry
