Looks like everyone had a great day!  Nice heli's !  The autogyro reminds me of the "Little Nellie" in the 007 movie.

Not exactly an 'event' where a big bunch of flyers and planes got together, but an event nonetheless!  Our field was visited by a couple of twirleygigs a couple of weeks ago - one gyrocopter and a turbine powered, BIG model heli.

Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention the he gyrotwirley is piloted by a full-sized member of our club.  He did a number of fly-bys at minimum allowed altitude (300 meters, IIRC) and the photos were taken at max telephoto and then cropped.
