John,

Truly sorry to hear of your stroke.  I'm really glad to hear that you're on the mend.  I was released from the hospital last March after fighting pneumonia.  Just so you know, you're not alone.  HB, I'm truly praying for your sister's recovery.  Sorry to hear that.

Heywoood,
Thanx for the  response. I am very fortunate.  Most think I am kidding about having a stroke. I am fortunate to have dodged a bullet.  The few hours when I told my left side to move and it did not respond to command was very scary. Fortunately now I am quasi normal.
Hugs,
O

Best to you in your recovery John.
My sister suffered a massive stroke a few years ago - it was bad. She had months of therapy and still wears a leg brace. She was one of the trending new statistics in America..a professional, executive career woman who suffered a stroke before the age of fifty.
I have been amazed at the quality of your craftsmanship since seeing your models at the VA site.

Guys,
THE POOP!
I had a stroke three days before Christmas last year.  Fortunately I was in  and out of the hospital in only three days.  I was lucky. In 36 hours I was back to normal.  Normal as abnormal me can be!  I plan on eventually finishing the Baboon.  It will be my last fabrication adventure.  I have been gifting my aero- planes to relatives and friends.  I shall only keep a few    When construction of the Baboon starts again, you fellows will be among the first to know. I have re-evaluated my life’s priority list and I am happy to currently be warmer than room temperature.  Looking forward to a summer at my cabin mowing meadows, shooting targets, and spending quality time with my chocolate Lab, and best buddy, Willie.
Hugs,
John “O”

The guns are joined and mounted on the gunner's ring. The guns need some cosmetic tweaking. With the mounting of the guns, this project starts a hiatus until Autumn 🍂. Have a great summer!

Tim,
Our trip is delayed a day. I am waiting for auxiliary light brackets for my John Deere. The brackets are arriving tomorrow. We will leave on Friday. I haven't touch the Baboon. The weather  is too nice to work inside. The build of the Baboon is a rainy day activity now.

John,
Going OK, settling in to a new normal, thank you for asking! The air museum opens next weekend so I'm going up for the volunteers orientation meeting.

Safe travels to you my friend!
