Good luck with the experimentation.  As for CLG's the very nature of their rocket like launches just don't make for easy video.  Capturing it in the glide will be the best for close ups but the over all flight as you captured in the last video was very nice!  Keep having fun!  Great that the wifey likes to tag along!

Thanks for the tips guys, I will try different launch angles to see what works, I guess what suits one model may not suit another. The park where the video was taken is just up the road from where I live, about 6-7 mins. in the car, its ok for small models. We have some common land a couple of miles from us that is a whole lot bigger. My wife usually likes to tag along when I'm out with the planes so more flight videos should not be a problem, she did try to film the jet but it was to fast for her to follow with the camera, will have another go at it next time.

Charac-52, the one thing I see is we on this side of that pond need to come visit and fly lots of CLG's in your nice flying field Cheesy Grin

I have yet to find one here close to me. Keep on flying and posting those flight videos it helps those of us who do not get the opportunity to get out and fly as much as we would like.

Charac-52,
Looks good.  You might want to experiment with an angle on your launch.  Lots of the CLG modelers use an angle of 35 to 45 degrees on the wings from level will allow the model to climb and transitions to glide without looping and loosing so much altitude.  This is something you'll have to develop with each model as what works best and give the best transition from launch to glide modes.  For what it's worth.
