	If your not set on rattle can finish...acrylic paint is the best for direct foam contact. Water based and safe on foam. If you have an airbrush this can be thinned and sprayed very easily! Even simple craft paints in the two ounce bottles can be used this way. Tom

	2nd what Tom said. If its a expensive rattle can it might be 'hot' (higher solvents) and even if it says safe it can melt it into a puddle. I always just used a styro coffee cup as my test. Even if its hot..a cheap primer can protect it long enough to dry...if its a paint you just gotta have.

	Several manufacturers make two types of paint in rattle cans. General purpose and plastic/foam safe paint. Be sure whatever you use it says plastic/foam safe on the can. Krylon and Rustoleum I've use as well as some big store (Home Depot and Lowes) paints but double check the plastic/foam safe (if it's safe for plastics it's usually safe for foam) But always check on a scrape piece of foam first!!!!
