Really really nice models!  Your Mailwing really grabs me - I need to learn to do rigging that well.  Good luck with your flights.

Thanks guys. I drew my own planes after researching the I-153 from my own material. It's 26 inches in span. I picked a color scheme I found in the book "Polikarpov's Biplane Fighters" by V.Gordon and K.Dexter. It was an easy match to the tissue I had on hand.

I'm not sure about the dihedral as I use the TLAR method of design Grin.

Another round of snow and wind coming in tonight, so looking glum for any flying.

Just today started a Dumas P-38.

Hi Stoney!  I really like the looks of your Polikarpov in that green color scheme - makes it look authentic!   Smiley   What is the kit and wingspan and how much dihedral does it have - or did you build it from a plan?   And it looks like it can glide forever with that dihedral - just like the dihedral of an almost 6 foot wingspan Turkey Vulture,  teeter-tottering in the wind, dropping a wing here and there, but always recovering ...  Shocked

Two fantastic bipes...love them!  I too build for me not for contests.  But your models look like they'd be great flyers.

The Polikarpov I-153 Chaika just finished. Prop left lose for glide trimming. Too heavy to be a real winner I suspect, but I build planes that I like regardless.
