Thanks, guys.

The plane is, and has been for some time, repaired and flying great.  Hard to beat a Ringmaster!

That Ringmaster is a plans built 125% size model.  Up from 42 inch wingspan to just over 52 inches, with a corresponding increase in wing area. In one of the pics, it is sitting next to a normal sized Ringmaster.  It flies really well, with an OS 48 four stroke up front, pulling an 11x7 Taipan prop.  I tried a couple of 3 and 4 blade props that worked pretty well, but the Taipan 2 blade outpulls the others.  I like to fly it on 70 foot lines, which gives about 5.5 second laps.  Even at that slow speed it pulls on the handle pretty hard.  Makes nice, big, round loops, and lands like a feather.

As for the sign, I just found it on the web.  I didn't damage
it.  Nobody saw me do it!  You can't prove nothin'!  LOL!

One thing I've learned in my modeling years...the ground almost always wins!!!  I hate it for you! I do understand, and I've been there.  My instructor pilot in the rc club I belonged to said,  "There are those who have crashed, and those who are going to crash!"  Unfortunately the cycle never seems to end!

As has been said,  the sign looks like someone was flying too low! Wink

I just pulled a couple 1/2A models out that i'm going to convert to electric. Hope to finish them or one of them by the end of the summer.

Oh my - sure hope the engine survived. Did you do that to the sign?
