I had a niggle in my mind and I went through my stash of old model mags looking for this. From the September 1978 Model Builder Magazine, a dual purpose plane, the Kingfisher/Cobra whip/u-control model.

Check out the Tether/Swing Flying Models Click Here
Also Dave's stick and tissue models for swing flying.  Basically any stick and tissue model can be rigged for swing flying.

Our fearless leader Thymekiller suggest we consider a Memorial Cookup for one of Moderator's who has "Gone West" yesterday.

Build and fly a swing/tether flyer and fly it in memory of Al our master swing flyer!

Any of our members up for this In Memoriam Cookup?
