Ok, brain blast, I got it, I have designed a miniature double cardan U- joint, this will allow us to run the rubber motor the length of the fuselage and link both front and rear rotors together using the same rubber motor.
I will start working on this drive in the morning and will post pictures in a day or two.  Smiley

Hello everyone,

I have not forgot this, still working on something for you to build, the Piasecki will not allow larger motor sticks, best size motor stick would be only 5 to 6 inches long, have to go another route.

Working on the rotor hubs for the tandem, this is the gimble assembly that will used on the front set of rotors.

Not yet Paul, I drew out the basic structure, I should have some pics in a day or two, not much to it because it is a no-cal, just a fuselage, landing gear, two motor sticks, front rotor hub with gimble and fixed rear rotors. Fixed pitch and simple rotor hubs.

On a side note the 500 could be redesigned to accept a 5 to 1 gear drive, this is something I will have to play with, working on the tandem for now.

I will be building the Piasecki this weekend if all goes well I will get the plans ready for you guys, no pulleys, just two motor sticks, a fuselage and two rotor hubs to make.

Cheers, Ray K.
