Hi Ray. I have been thinking about 'drive shafts' and perhaps even a 'printed' U-joint drive that would reduce both friction and vibration for this purpose. There are a few demonstrations of DIY miniature u-joints on Youtube. The u-joint could even be made out of brass soldered to the wire drive shafts.

Hello Andrew, there are no kits available out there for rubber powered helicopters, I use to make kits years ago and I plan on producing kits again as soon as I finish and test my new prototype, what would you like to know?

Cheers, Ray K.

Hello Ray.
I really would like to have a go at building a helicopter.  Sounds great.  What would be a good starting point please?  Are there model kits out there somewhere?
Thank you,
Andrew W
