Not sure I'm clear on just what you are asking.  Catapult gliders could be rigged to be swing models by attaching the line to the wing tip near the leading edge.  You might have to experiment with location attachment and adjusting rudder to keep the glider to the outside of the circle as you do with control line models.  Hope this helps.  I encourage you to read the earlier post to see just what Al did and other modelers as well.
