I went with the character the you first sent Tom.

The red background bled through. OH Well! As long as it flies who cares.

What I think would look cool is to have the yellow Clarabelle background be oval-shaped, which was common for cartoons of the era.  It sort of implies a stage spotlight.

Bob, I like the idea of putting Clarabelle on the rudder. It is your biggest flat surface area for display. You can always print a few 'decals' out on regular paper in different sizes and try them on your model in different locations before making a permanent decision.

ian, that sounds like a winner. Thanks.

Bob...I just realized I hijacked your build thread.  I'll put my build on a separate thread when I start it.  Sorry about that!!! Embarrassed Cry Kiss

If you print them big on tissue I'd go for the top of the wings...if you go small one on each side of the nose.  Take my advice and do as you please!!! Grin Wink

I have been looking at my MOPOKE with the intention of placing one or both of the caricatures on it some where, but I cannot satisfy my self on where would be the best spot.

Anyone's help is very much appreciated.

Tom, I say go for it that is a really good looking airplane. I have the plans on my flash drive, but time I take a look it scares me off with the delicate looking wing, but that's me your are a world class builder and I would learn much from your posts. And maybe even coerce me into trying it after seeing yours.

Tom, it was just another build that is easy and could fill in time while I worked out a problem on the GOON. Plus I am just trying to catch up to all that time when I could not build.

Bob...I like your idea of a side build...so I've downloaded an Embryo...Sharkie's Machine it's like the little orange bird at the head of this board.  Still thinking about a scheme though.
