Bill Schmidt's Small Incidence Meter...
Here's his instructions and diagram for making one for yourself.  This will be a very invaluable tool as you begin to use it in your modeling.

edit: I used CAD to redraw and tried to be accurate to all specifications spelled out in the original drawing.  If I read the logo right it was drawn in 1936. See the redraw attached.
