Sometimes, it is more important to understand how tissue shrinks. Tissue shrinks greatest perpendicular to the direction of the grain and less in the direction of the grain.

Perfect illustration here...very much appreciated.  I’ve been working on my R5 Jackrabbit and all of the information on the forum from you and the other veteran builders has been incredibly helpful.  Here’s my question regarding tissue grain...which orientation is best per each component?  Which direction for fuselage, wing, stabilizer and rudder when you are trying to avoid warp and twist?  Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated and my apologies ahead of time if this is already posted on the forum.

Here's a picture to help you understand the way to determine the grain of tissue.  Modelers will make a small tear in one corner of the tissue sheet.  If the tear is jagged it's across the grain, if it's a smooth tear it is with or along the grain. See the picture...
