I'm happy with these files. I wanted a file that was thin enough to cut a 1/16" notch, and the flat one does a good job at that. The grit is sharp enough to easily file away CA or other glue flash.

Micro-files

I use inexpensive files all the time for a variety of purposes...removal of glue fillets, cutting notches, hollowing out fuselage formers, etc. I've been using files from Harbor Freight or Amazon and found them generally useful. But I wished for something smaller.

I found it with these micro-files from Amazon. They are about 2/3 the size of the other files and seem well made. I particularly like that the flat files have a sharp edge making them useful for cutting notches as small as 1/32".
