Not having any luck with the vacuuming of any canopies. While I did not cloud this one it came out with bubbles.

Thanks, Brad. It was my first time to build one and took a few hairs off my bald head Roll Eyes

I took some scrap wood that was in the way and built the mold for the canopy.

Great work on the front cowl.  I love the integrated box structure. Smiley

Great job Bob! I would even consider leaving a tissue panel open on the very bottom of the cowling for placement of weight needed for trimming before sealing it up with tissue.  Then the weight would be hidden.  Just a thought.  This is turning into a very nice model! Smiley

Looks good Bob - that should give you a nice solid noseblock and help with the balance.

The construction of the nose gave me some cause to start thinking on how to do so. After some searching through the posts to find one that gave a little of an idea. I finilly looked at the pieces cut out for the nose and saw that the centers  of #1 and #2 was square. I built a box to attach the above parts then then the strimgers.

I love CA.

The parts for the SB2C are all cut out from wood purchased at the local Hobby Lobby. I have had bad experiences with their before, but this wood looked pretty good.

Neal just started a thread on his love of dime scale here:
https://www.stickandtissue.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1578417371

So I thought I would also build one while I wait for the ability to go do some flying. I picked out a plan of Skyleada's SB2C HELLDIVER since I have not built this one before.
