I couldn't get a power package for this one....everything was to big...so it's a hanger queen, and the fellows take it to meets to show people what we need to do....build smaller Cheesy Grin
Someday...I may get them micro motors, and a battery that will last 10-15seconds, and weigh around 100mg Roll Eyes
I'll build another then......

When I first read the title, it didn't get through my foggy brain just how tiny this was! Best wishes on this working out for you. It is a very interesting project.  Smiley

I wish I had the $$, I would get one of the G3 c02 motors...they say, a 6" wingspan is right for that tiny motor....awesome stuff!!!!!!!!

I took this because of a dare from the wife...she said she wasn't sure I could do it.....SO~ one of the hard issues is getting the wood stripped in a size to use....the xacto blade with bend ever so much with the grain....and poof** you have a inconsistent sliver.......I go some special electrolysis needles to 'pin' sometimes these little pieces of wood....I use eye magnifiers, and the old double edge razor blades. switching to nozzles that end in a micro point for the glue bottle...and STILL I get to much on the joints...and it wicks all over.
tissue covering should be straight forward...I may try some tonight, I have some esaki put back Wink
anyhoo.......I will try a separate setup rubber motor, outta the plane, for 'testing' im not sure it could power it....im still leaning toward the electric 4mm size motor and 2cm prop, watch batteries or 5f capacitor........... Tongue
all in all, it will be most likely a powered glider.....
