Hey Tom, the tissue is sprayed silver metallic and dusted with Matt finish Krylon, the black tissue strip is just there because I thought it looked cool.

Nice job on the covering Ray. Is that silver tissue or is that painted?   Is the black strip representing a de-icing strip?  This is turning into a very nice looking model.  I look forward to your maiden flight!!! Smiley

Hey Tom, blades are a very snug fit, once the pitch angle is set they will stay put, pitch is adjustable but once I get them set for satisfactory flight I can lock the settings in with a touch of .CA glue, here is a close up of the rotor hub assembly.

Blades look great.  How do you set the pitch and lock them in place?

I decided to make built up rotor blades this time,  all blades are done and they each weigh 1/2 of a gram,  just need to cover them.
