Thanks Mike...this was a fun build and after a few tosses looks like I need to lighten the noseblock some to get a flatter glide. She's a bit nose heavy but looks promising!

Looks sharp Tom!  The checkered trim really sets it off - I like how you repeated the motif on the wheel pants.

Well I finally completed the Boston Tea Partly...Got the windscreen done with the celophane I got at Dollar Store.  It is very thin and conformed well but if you hit it, it will dent.  Just softly press the sides and she springs back.  Here's the pics...

Thanks Ian... I finished the windscreen today and the propshaft and balanced a 6" prop.  Glued on the wing and took her out to the front yard.  Lots of sunshine today in the Pacific Northwest, here in So. West Washington.  She's a bit nose heavy so I'll drill some holes in the noseblock  and see how that works.  Pictures tomorrow.  Got an old Canon Sure Shot of my mom-n-laws that takes still and video so we'll see what we can do tomorrow.  I'll try to rope my wifey into being camera operator see if we can get some glides from the "Tea Partly". I like the way this one turned out.  These smaller ones build fast and still have the looks.

Well I made some progress on the Boston Tea Partly.  Got the tissue on the components.  Pretty much finished the the scheme.  Still need to finish the prop shaft & windscreen. This has been a fun build. Still have to work on getting these fuselages guilt without going banana on me.  Couldn't get her straightened without building a whole new fuselage.  If this baby flies well may have to build another.  Took advantage of the rare sun in the Pacific Northwest and shot a few pics outside.

Starting a new Boston Tea Partly by Walt Mooney.  A little high wing "T" tail.  Will post pics as soon as we get the site working fully!  Moving in that direction so hopefully soon will have things back to normal.
